This truck is a great bang for your buck reasonably priced and quality at its best.It started with the un boxing and i have to say this truck is built sturdy. It came with almost everything to run it with the exception of fuel and batterys.I would recomend this truck for experienced only its not a good beginers truck VERY FAST!!! Also be sure to go exactly by the book on break in its very important for engine life. Thanks traxxas

Our son is replacing an R/C vehicle, 4 wheel-drive, with this one. We were told he didn’t want this, but he was adament, and now that he’s used it, is very grateful that he did not listen to others!

Must have rc

Me and two friends bought this truck to race against each other and we cannot stop. It is a lot of fun and very good to learn on. We’ve gone from a 3 car field to 6 now that our other friends bought them too. Only major upgrade you need for winter is aluminum caster blocks and knuckles. Makes all the difference when bumping into something at low speed breaks those parts. We’ve managed to rip each corner of the truck collectively, but traxxas has a very high availability of parts at LHS’s all over. RPM, Proline, and Integy have a bunch of hop ups and replacement parts that make it even easier to replace anything you break. 2wd is a little tricky to run, but if you could get a hang of it, it’s well worth it. Seriously buy this truck.

I don’t have the nitro slash BUT…

I have the electric slash and it was a blast to drive when it was set up to bash. It’s brushed, but I could go 30mph with it over a jump and very little broke. The lcg is much better for racing. I know this because I put the proline lcg kit on my slash and I’m beating sc10s out there!!! If you like to be a show off and like to wake the whole neighborhood up, get the nitro slash. Very fun nitro car

To whoever said that the electric version is good…NITRO AND ELECTRIC ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT,…have seen it on the track and performs well but that was like righting a review on a motorcycle after riding a bike
